Halloween

Today is one of my favorite holodays.  It's Halloween,  I love dogs and I thought that I could dress up as one.  It took a little bit to figure out what dog would be easiest to do.

Eventually I figured out that I would be a Boxer. Ellie was a dog trainer, Lucy was George Washington, and Evelyn was the Statue of liberty.  For Ellie's costume she brought a bag with dog treats, balls, ropes, and a muzzle. Ellie attached a leash to my collar that I wore around my neck.

For my costume, I wore a brown shirt and then I had a white turtle neck underneath of the brown shirt. I had a little tail. Ellie painted my face. I also had fake teeth. Lucy wore a black jacket with a white ruffled shirt underneath. She wore some white shoes with white socks.

Evelyn wasn't very hard to dress up. She wore a dress that my mom made and she wore a crown. Then after we were all ready we went outside to get a group picture. Halloween is really fun, because you get to dress up and think of the things that you are going to be.

             Today is just like a regular day.  Lots and lots of homework. Speaking of homework, the dogs are working on some new training. I guess that that's what the dogs think is homework. Ellie is their teacher. She teaches them to sit,  roll over, and lie down.

Those are the very first things she wants them to learn.  I think that after they're done with those tricks and they know them really well, Ellie's probably going to try and do some harder tricks like signaling them to jump, or telling them to speak.   Sometimes after Ellie finishes her homework she will work with the dogs a little. When Ellie finishes with her training for the day, it looks something like this.

  Today was a really busy day.

Chincoteague Island

This weekend we went to Chincoteague Island, we had heard lots of comments about how wonderful it is and how pretty. When we got there we were really excited. We were celebrating our Grandparents' 50th anniversary. We left the house on Thursday and we were going to stay until Sunday. One time when we were going to the beach we saw some baby Egrets. The light house had 175 stairs we went to the very top. When I came outside I clinged to the railing. When I started to go down the stairs I realized it wasn't as scary. When we all got to the bottom Ellie found a little toad and I held it. We had a wonderful time. When we got home. Sadie, Renn, and Autumn were jumping on us. They were so excited that we were home.

They were really cute. On the way home we saw some more Egrets.

Rocky

Today we were eating lunch; Ellie and my mom were gone. When they got home, something was with them. It was a dog. He was really cute. His name was Rocky.

Love me, love me, love me!

 We were really excited that we had another dog. Sadie, she just ignored him because she did not like other animals taking away her attention. One day we left to go to swim team and we left Rocky in the living room. All of the doors were closed we were going to test him and see how he reacted. When we got home all of the doors were open. We started to look for Rocky and I found him in my room. He had made a mess he broke glass and he had torn up the bed. He had got into the closet and got all of my dresses down and the whole room was a mess. After that we brought him back to the SPCA.

Autumn & Phoebe

Today is a very exciting day. We are going to get a puppy. Her name is going to be Renn. She is a Golden Retriever and is very sweet.

"Renn what are you doing?" Uh oh! Busted!

A few days after we got her someone called and said that they were giving away a free Golden Retriever. We arranged an appointment at the Monticello trail. We ended up taking her home. She has beautiful eyes. Her birthday is September 3rd just three days before my birthday. I named her Autumn. Her name before was Pumpkin. We also found out that she is obsessed with balls.

 After that my mom and I were getting ready for the women's four miler. When my mom and I got back from the four miler, my older sister Ellie told me that Autumn started to chase one of the bunnies which was Phoebe. She ran into the house two times and Ellie caught her. Then she put her back into her cage. I wanted to go visit her. When I got to the cage Aphrodite looked really scared. I looked for Phoebe and I found her she had died. When she banged her head into the wall she must have messed up her brain or something and that is probably why she died. Autumn really liked the bunnies if you held them still she would have just snuggled with them, but when they hopped she probably just thought that they were a play toy. Now I just play with Aphrodite and she loves the fresh fruit that we bring her.

A Day With Scissors

Today Lucy is going to get her hair cut, she has been asking our mom for a hair cut for days. She gets

Playdate

Yesterday our friends came to spend a few nights at our house. The day after that we went to the pool. It was really fun. Amelia and I were diving and seeing who could go the farthest. We had a awsome time together!

A Day With The Bunnies.

Today I wanted to visit the bunnies. I also wanted to take a few pictures of them. The first one

Aphrodite and Sadie

Today I wanted to play with Aphrodite. After I ran around the house and in the woods with her I brought her inside. I filled up a bowl of water for her to drink. She drank a little but that was all. After that she started to jump around the counter. She nearly jumped in the sink but I grabbed her before she could. Then I cut up an apple for me and for her. I had a little and she had a little. After that I saw Sadie on her bed and I asked my mom if she could take a picture of them together. If you're wondering why I asked

Oh no! Not you again.

her to take a picture it is because the bunnies take too much of her attention away from her. Sadie always looks away from the percon who has the bunnies, so that is why I asked my mom if she could

Please, I just can't stand it. Please take her away. I beg you!

take a picure of them together. They look so cute together, dont you think? It took a little while to take a picture. You can see that Aphrodite kept on wanting to get away. She was so glad when the picture was over.

Aphrodite Escapes

Today I wanted to hold Aphrodite. I took a few pictures. While I was looking at the pictures, Aphrodite jumped out of my arms and started to go toward the house. I got the net and missed the first time by about a foot. But I caught her the second time. Of course she now does not like the net and neither does Pheobe.

Peek-a-boo

You can see that the net has a few holes. But they're not big enough so that they can get through them. When I picked her up Ellie was mowing the lawn in that part. Aphrodite jumped out of my arms again. Aphrodite was quite frightened when the lawn mower came close to her. I think that will be the only time

that she will get that close. When I went on the porch she was pretending that she was asleep so that I would put her down. I got a picture before she got up. After all of that I was really tired so I put Aphrodite in her cage. Pheobe looked at me like she didn't get all of the attention that day. So I pet her and of course she would be the next one who I would be playing with. So I went inside and relaxed.  What a wonderful day.

S'mores

Mmmmmm this'll be good!

Today we went to church. When we got home we ate lunch and then it got close to dinner. We asked our mom and dad if we could have some s'mores. They said, "Yes." So I got the big wood. Evelyn and Ellie got the sticks. Lucy helped me with the big wood. After Lucy,Evelyn, and Ellie were done they went inside. I stayed outisde to help my dad get the fire started. It was prety hard because it had rained in the morning and last night. I had to help with getting the little sticks that were crisp and dry.

"It's mine!" "No it's mine!" 

When I was done I went inside to have my tacos. When we were done we couldn't wait. Lucy kept on asking if she could bring all of the stuff out. My mom said, "Yes." She also said not to open them. So once my mom and dad got outside we started to roast the marshmallows. Lucy asked when Ellie would be home (Ellie was at youth group). My mom said in fifteen minutes. She also said that my dad was going to pick her up. We had a lot of fun. When Ellie came home my mom said that we manged to save some marshmallows for her. Lucy kept on catching her marshmallows on fire. She always told me to blow them off. One time she nearly hit me in the forhead with a burning marshmallow. We had a ton of fun. I can't wait until the next time.

Bunnies in the Creek

On Thursday I felt like taking some pictures of the bunnies. So I asked my mom if I could borrow her camera. She said, "Yes." This was a two trip thing. First, I would bring Phoebe and then I would bring Aphrodite. It was a little complicating with Phoebe, because she kept on running away in the thorns. Of course, she slid right through the little gaps in the thorns. But I kept on getting poked with them. After I got out she would be in the water cooling her feet of.

So I was now aware that if she ran of that she would come back. Finally, I got a picture of her in the water she tried to swim to the other side but I caught her. With the net then I started to walk toward home. After I got home I put Phoebe in her cage and got Aphrodite out. When I got to the creek Aphrodite jumped out of my arms and ran into the thorns. After standing there for two or three minutes. Aphrodite came out and went into the stream. I got a picture of her and we got it done so much quicker than Phoebe. I brought Aphrodite home and got a book to read and relax.

Sadie's Day of Beauty

Today I felt like giving Sadie a bath. On the way downstairs my mom asked me if I could brush Sadie's teeth too. I said, "Yes." After I got all of the stuff I needed, I called Sadie to come out. After I put the leash on her I saw her start to back away. Because she doesn't like baths, after I got her wet she was shivering to try and get my attention. So I put the conditioner on and I made a Mohawk on her back. I

could tell that she didn't like it because she kept on shaking. It seemed like it would take forever to get a picture of her with a mohawk on her back. But I managed to get it right before she shook the hairstyle off. Then I had to brush her teeth, brush her hair, and take her on a walk, and then I brushed her one more
time to make sure that I got all of the loose hairs off. Then I just sat down and relaxed. What a fun day.

A Day With Sadie

Today I felt like taking some pictures of my dog Sadie. So I asked if I could borrow my mom's camera. After she gave me the camera I started to look for Sadie I found her lying on her bed in the sun. When she saw me coming she saw the camera in my hand. She gave me the look that meant you know I really don't like that thing that flashes in my eyes but I managed to get her outside. It wasn't too difficult except when I had to put the flower in her collar she kept on scratching it off. So that I had to keep on putting it in.

When I got the picture she started to go up the steps but I told her that we were almost done. Very, very slowly she came. After I took one more picture she ran toward the steps and I let her inside she seemed really pleased that she didn't have to get anymore pictures. After a little while I went to go see her and she gave me the look like she had earned something. So I gave her a belly rub and she looked so happy that I just had to keep on rubbing and rubbing untill I got tired but she started to push me. So I brought her outside and threw the ball for her and she ran and got it. I did it a few more times untill she had to take a rest in the shade.

Soccer Game

I don't know what to say to start off with but I guess I'll start off from this morning. First I got ready for my soccer game which was at 9:00. I had to get there a little early because it was picture day. We all stood in front of the goal for our picture and after that we started the game. The Purple team got a goal the first few minutes of the game. They got two other goals in the first half, and when the second half was coming up our coach told us to try and be aggresive,  hog the ball, and try to do far shots. Katia made two goals which relieved us so much. We tried to make a tie before the end but we didn't. So it ended up 3 to 2 and we lost by 1 point. When I got home I had lunch and we ate Bagles with b.b. creamcheese.
